Senior Pastor

Bruce Howland

Brother Bruce came to join the UFBC family early in 2012. Born in Wyoming Park, Michigan, Bruce grew up in a home with Christian values but did not make the decision to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior until he began attending a little Baptist church with his family after 8 years in the Air Force. In brother Bruce's own words, "It was then I realized I was lost and needed Jesus Christ." Brother Bruce's educational background includes a Associates Degree in Communications from the University of Maryland, a Bachelors of Science from Tennessee Temple University and a Masters of Ministry in Pastoral Studies from Tennessee Temple as well. Outside of the Ministry, Bruce enjoys spending time with his wife of over 35 years, Linda, his children, and grandchildren. He also enjoys Michigan football wood working and travel. Brother Bruce lives by Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
